Ever wondered what would happen if you stacked a metric sh*tload of life per spirit spent or spirit per second? Well here’s your answer!
Life Per Spirit Spent

Dual wielding weapons with life per spirit spent, wearing a helm with life per spirit spent, and using transcendence I was running 180.2 LPSS. Basically with this build you just want to spam the hell out of Pillar of the Ancients. Each pillar gives you back 13,515 life! I’m sure there are MANY different variations you can do with this, the extremely high spirit gen and life per spirit spent really leaves you open to some interesting options. For one you could probably drop breath of heaven and just use your spirit generators to heal you. Buy some cheap life on spirit spent weapons and play around with it! I’d love to hear what works best for you.

Basically the same build, if you can afford it switching out Guardian’s path or one with everything for chant of resonance might be interesting to get you even more spirit per second. With three stacks of sweeping wind, my weapons, and my helm I was getting 9.56 spirit per second. Running Mantra of Healing with circular breathing and chant of resonance would boost that up to 14.56 spirit per second. And then add to that the fact that every third hit is a crit thus giving you another 5 spirit per hit(15 * .3333333) and you essentially have unlimited spirit. Now you can spam all of those awesome skills you always wanted to use but never had enough spirit for, and still get healed 3100 points everytime you hit one of your mantras. Again VERY versatile build that will allow you to switch out many of your defensive abilities for other abilities that weren’t viable before in spirit starved builds.

Still want to stack crit chance and crit hit dmg. Seems like post 1.0.3 crit is now mandatory. Other then that pick up weapons with LPSS or spirit per second. Ideally you could get some weapons with life per spirit spent, spirit per second, and critical hit damage. Two of those would make for an unstoppable monk. Getting healed for 10,000 plus everytime you used an ability and having almost unlimited spirit.
